With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Jean Black, age 87, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
Graveside Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Orange Hill Cemetery in Marianna, Florida with the Reverend Mark Dudley, officiating.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
One Son: Alvin (Karla) Black of Tallahassee, Florida
One Daughter: Janice Black of Marianna, Florida
Grandchildren: Briana Black and Michael Miller
One Brother: Lamar Johnson of Tallahassee, Florida
