Mr. Henry Cornelious Davis, Sr. of Blountstown entered eternal rest on Friday, April 25th at home surrounded by loved ones. He was 90 years old.

Henry leaves cherished memories with his wife, Luverne Gardner Davis of Blountstown; two sons, Carlos Davis of Blountstown and Henry C. Davis, Jr. of Bradenton, Florida; two daughters, Berzelous Davis and Michelle Davis both of Bradenton, Florida; two stepchildren, Leo Gilbert, III of McDonough, Georgia and Starla Gardner of Cottondale, Florida; one brother-in-law, John Gardner, Jr. of Kearney, New Jersey; two sisters-in-law, Minnie Gardner of Cottondale, Florida and Vanice Moore and husband Melvin of Albany, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be Friday, May 2nd from 3-6 at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 3rd at True Holiness Church of Christ Written in Heaven in Blountstown with Superintendent E.L. Brigham, Reverend Joe Tripp, Minister Johnnie Wobbleton and Pastor Chris Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the caring staff of licensed professionals at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
