Donna Rumbly Collins, 90, of Greenwood, FL, died January 29, 2025, at her residence.

She was born May 1, 1934, to Gladine and Walter Rumbly. 

Donna worked as a secretary at a newspaper publishing house in Jacksonville, FL for many years. Her joy and passion was being a ballroom dancer and instructor. She eventually had her own dance studio. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Owens M. Collins; parents, Gladine and Walter Rumbly; son, Michael Walter Hines; granddaughter, Courtney Hines; sister, Marion Bigger; and brother, William Rumbly.

Donna is survived by her daughter-in-law, Renee Gamble (Hines); granddaughter, Kayla Hines and her son-in-law, V. Zabran; grandchildren, Nathan, Hanna, and Travis Lynch; great-grandchildren, Deanna and Vince Zabran, Grayson and Emma Lynch; nephew, Roger Collins; great-nephew, Eric Hall.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2024, at Lovedale Baptist Church, with Randall Jarnigan officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Lovedale Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
