Frank Thomas McHugh, III, 79, of Marianna, FL died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his residence. 

He was born February 18, 1945, in Marianna, Florida to Frank and Anniebell McHugh. 

Frank truly enjoyed art. He was often painting and woodworking, with music playing in the background. He also had an extensive DVD collection and was a movie connoisseur. After retirement, he enjoyed exploring the best local spots in Panama City Beach and riding his motorcycle. In recent years, he made it a point to make the most of his time spent with his grandchildren and always enjoyed being a part of their lives. Frank thoroughly enjoyed lunch at The Oaks Restaurant, and had lunch there often until they closed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Frank T. McHugh II, and his mother and stepfather, Anniebell B. and Col. John L. Phillips; and maternal grandparents, William and Clara (Granger) Beasley.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Bailey and husband, Harry; Brandi Thompson and husband, John; Anna Meyer and husband, Chris; Alaina McHugh; and five grandchildren, Ansley Miller, Aiden Miller, Kayla Thompson, Christian Poole, and Zaylee McHugh.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:30 PM, Friday, February 7, 2025, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. A graveside funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in Riverside Cemetery with David Baldwin officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
