These events will take place at Gulf Breeze Library, 1060 Shoreline Drive in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
America 250: The American Revolution Screening Reel
June 30, 3 – 4:30 p.m.
Celebrate America’s 250th at Gulf Breeze Library with a free screening reel from THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, a documentary series by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. This screening will feature “Military History,” a selected clip reel with excerpts that explore the people, events, ideas, and lasting impact of America’s fight for independence.
America 250: Red, White, and Blue Rock Painting Event
July 1, 2 – 4 p.m.
Celebrate with a fun-filled red, white, and blue rock painting event! Decorated rocks will be displayed at the library through the end of July. Supplies provided by the Friends of the Gulf Breeze Library.
