USF football announced its full 2026 schedule on Thursday for its last season at Raymond James Stadium.
South Florida is coming off a 9-4 campaign and will enter its first season under head coach Brian Hartline, who was hired in December.
The Bulls made their third-straight bowl appearance this past season.
They fell 24-10 to Old Dominion at the Cure Bowl in Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.
Despite the past two nonconference schedulers being filled with Power Four opponents, the Bulls will not play one this upcoming season.
USF will face nonconference foes like Kent State and Delaware State as well as its American Conference slate.
The 2026 season will also mark the program’s 30th year of football and its final season at Raymond James Stadium before moving into a new on-campus stadium in 2027.
South Florida will play seven home games for the first time since 2019 after going 6-0 at home last season.
The Bulls open the season Sept. 5 against FIU in Tampa. This will be the first matchup between the in-state rivals since 2008.

South Florida starts its American Conference slate on Sept. 12 at Army, marking the earliest conference game in program history and the program’s first trip to West Point since 2003.
USF returns home on Sept. 19 to host Delaware State for the first time in program history before traveling to Bowling Green on Sept. 26 for its lone non-conference road game.
This game against the Falcons will be the first for South Florida and Bowling Green since 2002.
Conference play resumes on Oct. 3 when the Bulls host Temple.
USF won the teams’ last meeting, 27-23, in Tampa in 2023 and owns a 4-1 home record in the series.
The Bulls then travel to San Antonio to face UTSA for a Thursday night matchup on Oct. 8.
USF won 55-23 in the prior meeting between the teams last season on Nov. 6. The Bulls’ defense scored two touchdowns before its offense touched the field, and six sacks were recorded, the most since 2019.
South Florida returns home on Oct. 17 to face Kent State in the designated Homecoming game before heading into the first bye week of the season on Oct. 24.
UAB will travel to Tampa on Oct. 31 to resume conference play for the Bulls.
The Bulls defeated UAB 48-18 last season, scoring on five straight possessions. The Bulls’ defense produced three turnovers, which were all interceptions.
USF will then play back-to-back weeknight games, beginning with a Nov. 6 trip to East Carolina.
ECU leads the all-time series 9-4 and has won three straight meetings.

The Bulls return to Tampa on Nov. 12 to host Memphis in the program’s annual Salute to Service game.
In the last matchup between the teams, Memphis broke USF’s 15-game string of forcing a turnover. The Tigers forced one of the Bulls’ opening possessions, which they converted into a touchdown, leading them to win the turnover battle and later the game 34-31.
South Florida closes its conference road schedule on Nov. 21 at Florida Atlantic. The Bulls defeated the Owls 48-13 on Oct. 19.
The regular season concludes at Raymond James Stadium against Tulane on Nov. 27 or 28. The Senior Day matchup will receive its final date and television broadcast in October.
Tulane has reached each of the last four conference championship games and defeated North Texas last season to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.
